Why math is required

The reason why math is a required subject is very simple, you need it in life period. You have to know how to count to work with money, you need to know how to calculate payments and money you spend receive to make sure you do not get cheated and you get the amount you deserve. People that work for In Home Supportive Services for example have time sheets to calculate their own hours and if they do not put the right times they will not get paid on time. I for one need math for my potential career. I want to be a neonatologist, which is a newborn baby doctor. I need a lot of math and science to become this. Math is everywhere. I may not understand what we need with some subjects and even thought I do not like math it is something we all need in life. Geometry is needed for architecture, construction and engneering. Statistics is use for some careers such as sports journalist, scientist and more. You really need math in general to go into any career ; even working in a fast food resturant, grocery store or a place that is not as professional as others math is still reuqired and something very important to understand if not be skilled at.
