Understanding and Knowledge

Understanding something is like comprehending or being aware of something. You can understand a problem or understand the equation of a math problem or understand why someone is mad. People understand things they dont have knowledge of in the beginning. I could go to a teacher not knowing anything about what Im going to ask but after they explain it now I understand. When reading a story and asking questions afterward thats something like understanding what the story was about which is also refferred to as comprehension. Knowledge is knowing. Knowledge is intelligence. Understanding leads to knowledge and when you have knowledge you can go further than just understanding something. Both of these relate because they kind of mean the same thing, except with knowledge you already know something and with understanding you figuring it out or just now getting the knowledge. You can have knowledge about anything you learn and understand.
